Some of the most creative photos I have ever taken have come from long exposure photography. With just a few easy tricks you can master this skill! Get yourself a good tripod that will allow your camera to be still during the long exposure. This first image captures a moment where you can see a person, a barn, and the night sky. This is done with a exposure around 20 seconds long. We then used as large flashlight to light up the barn and out friend Cory. Then in Photoshop, I fixed up the light a little using dodge and burn. The result was a pretty cool image! Play around with colors and flashlights. Light painting is also a fun trick to learn along side long exposure.
